DRONE DELIVERY SERVICE PILOT TEST

Octocam-maps participated in a Pilot Test to test delivery services with unmanned aerial vehicles (UAS).

This is a large-scale project led by CORUS-Xuam, with the collaboration of some organisations and companies in the sector such as Indra, AENA and Enaire, among others, and institutions such as the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya or the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.

Our team of engineers and pilots were in charge of some tests of this large-scale demonstration with the Autonomous University of Barcelona. The first two tests were carried out at Lleida Alguaire Airport, where the flight data of the drones were analysed. The final test was carried out on the Castelldefels seafront promenade. With simultaneous flights of different drones.
