BUILDING SCANNING - STATIC LIDAR (25,000 M2)

On this occasion, our client set us a new challenge: to scan a 27-storey building in Barcelona city as quickly as possible. For this, we chose the Leica RTC 360, a machine owned by Octocam-maps, which offers high precision and at the same time an amazing agility.

The aim of the project was to verify the square metres of the building’s dwellings, with an accuracy of less than 5mm error.

After more than 3000 scans in only 10 days, we were able to finish the field work. We then carried out the 2D plans of each floor to compare them with the originals.
