A few days ago we flew with lidar drone in a conflictive area, susceptible to flooding, with a high forest mass.
A total of 60 Ha, which we were able to cover easily in half a day’s work.
For this project, we used a drone with high autonomy and high load capacity, equipped with a LiDAR sensor of 32 pulses and two bounces, with a high penetration capacity in undergrowth, compared to other cheaper sensors such as the Livox.
For rinex data collection and control points we used a Topcon Hiper VR GPS system.
With results, we obtained:
– Classified point cloud
– DTM
– Curved
All with an accuracy of +- 5 cm.
