STORIES FOR THE CONSERVATION AND PROTECTION OF THE PLANET

Creativity without limits … A work that immerses us to visit six countries around the world with six artists, with the aim of telling stories for the conservation and protection of the planet.

Simple, but powerful the new Lavazza 2019 calendar. A work that immerses us to visit six countries around the world with six artists, with the aim of telling stories for the conservation and protection of the planet.
A story that passes through photography, and art and translates into a perfect balance between majestic photos and unique art installations. “In Good to Earth, nature becomes art to inspire behaviors that respect the environment. “It is a contemporary art and totally immersed in nature, an original mix between Ami Vitale’s story by images and internationally renowned nature artists, who have ventured into a real process of co-creation with the environment,” explains Francesca Lavazza, curator of the Lavazza calendar and member of the company’s board of directors. This year, in its 27th edition, the calendar has chosen projects around the world thanks to UNEP, the United Nations Environment Programme.

Octocam-maps participated in the project in Morocco. The work occupies 37,500 square meters and was built with a rake, 36 tons of dark gravel, and vegetable oil. The water flows between two huge hands as in a perpetual flow, symbolizing the ability to reuse water to create a green belt around the city and protect it from sandstorms.

This project combine art, photography and nature.

This project contains images and stories that wish to inspire and move, to stimulate our generation, and those to come, towards a positive change for the future of the Planet. To see the complete calendar click here
