The Multispectral Drone service uses specialised cameras to capture images in multiple bands of the visible spectrum, providing detailed information on vegetation health and terrain characteristics. It is a valuable tool in precision agriculture and environmental studies.
At Octocam Maps, we are at the forefront of multispectral technology with our Multispectral Drone service. This innovative tool is essential for precision agriculture, environmental analysis and geological surveys, providing a detailed, multi-spectral view of the terrain.
Technical specifications:
Our Micasense Rededge-P multispectral camera, coupled to the Matrice 300 RTK aerial platform, captures images in multiple spectral bands. With six high-resolution cameras, it produces detailed RGB and multispectral images, accurately geo-referenced by the RTK system. NDVI and other vegetation indices are easily calculated, providing valuable information on the health of plants and other terrain elements.
We accurately detect and analyse plant health and soil characteristics, key to precision agriculture.
We use state-of-the-art multispectral cameras to obtain detailed data in multiple spectral bands.
Our data helps optimise crop and environmental studies, providing a solid basis for informed decisions.
